So this is Christmas....+1

My family and I had a decent discussion about my trip on Christmas eve and morning. They have provided a plethura of gifts to bring with on my trip. I look forward to wearing my shpants. Shpanst are key.

The challenge with this trip is to continue in my evolution to answer a few big life questions while wearing my shpants. I could choose to be on the safe route of comfort to choose for instance the appealing career path of my early and later childhood. Or I could learn from the diversity of life on the platueas and plains of Africa to expand my frame of reference and broaden my perspective on career choices. But as my father said today "no job is perfect". To break my intraspective thought with good ol' North Dakota straight to the facts jack point. Thanks Dad!
Well today, I marveled at the winter weather in ND. 35"+ snow and cold weather (5 degrees F and below)....recheck its colder now and it was -10 just a day ago. Its so cold and there is soo much snow the pheasants are starving. Today, the only day I hunted this entire year (because I usually hunt more) we had a cold, challenging, but fun time chasing the beautiful birds. The ND winter will be very hard on the birds and deer this year.

Planning etc...

Sooo........If I were on a SHIP that was entitled the Statewide Health Improvement Program, I undoubtedly would be in the assessment and planning phase. As corny as it sounds its title is true. I am taking inventory of all things in my posession that could potentially be brought with me on my trip. Implementation phase is the use of my potential to help Selian Lutheran Hospital and the population it serves.

To start:

This trip is unlike any other. For this trip is a credence that where we are born entitles us to privileges which are far out of our control.
